The program gives an opportunity to learn more about art through one’s own experience. The artworks from exhibitions become the objects for exploration and topics for drawing. Thus while observing, thinking and drawing participants get deeper understanding of creative process as such, the structure of a piece of art and of personalities.
During the lessons the museum educator tells about the topic of the day and gives the task related to it – a copy, a free copy or a creative work, depending on the specifics of the exposition.
The lessons are suitable for children starting from the age of 4 to 10. No prior knowledge is required. The children can work independently or together with parents.
The lessons are taught by artist and museum educator Diāna Dimza-Dimme.
