The Youth Club

The Youth Club of the LNMA is a free of charge educational program for teens (age 15+) who are interested in museums, art, design and culture.

The club aims to form a permanent platform for teens to be an active part of the museum life. Participants can meet with professionals representing creative and cultural industries and become more informed about what exactly establishes a museum and which processes define the cultural scene of Latvia. During the club meetings, participants can work together with like-minded peers, share their ideas on how to improve the museum assortment on how it can grow in various ways.


At the moment the 20 youngster are acitively participating in the program - attending specifically organised activities, meeting with artists, designers and other professionals and taking part in creating the visual identity of the club and a new section of our web page.


Activities take place two times a month on Tuesday afternoons in the Latvian National Museum of Art, Art Museum RIGA BOURSE, the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design, the ARSENĀLS Exhibition Hall, the Museum of Romans Suta and Aleksandra Beļcova, as well as in artists and designers’ studios and various other cultural establishments.



The next application period will be in 2018 and will be distinctively announced. In order to apply one has to fill in and submit an application form.
