Workshops: The School of Seeing the Beautiful

Workshop led by artist Kristine Jansone.

The museum is a place where people can see objects of art, most of which can only be enjoyed with eyes. This workshop offers a chance to create a copy of an artwork, which you can take home. Participants in the School of Seeing Beautiful will be able to choose what they consider to be the most beautiful artwork or a certain motif in the museum. Reproducing an artwork will help participants to understand the creative process and learn about the structure of the selected work. Professional artist will be on hand to assist. The School of Seeing Beautiful will help each participant to develop and improve his or her individual skills.

Workshop participation fee: LVL 2 per person
Participation fee for guiding:
LVL 4 preschool children in group (no more than 15 children). Duration: 45-60 minutes
LVL 4 pupils and family groups (no more than 20 people). Duration: 45-90 minutes
LVL 6 adults (no more than 20 people). Duration: 45-90 minutes
