Informative seminar for teachers: Spain – only and just for teachers!
In the first part of the seminar, a guide will introduce teachers to two current exhibitions – Prado 12 Characters and Francisco de Goya’s Los Caprichos. The second part of the seminar will consist of an informative presentation about the Art Museum RIGA BOURSE’s educational programmes – thematic excursions, creative workshops, events associated with the Prado Museum collection and experience from working with groups of school children.

Fan Workshop for the Ladies with a Piquant Insight into Fan Language
For us, the courts of royal houses are associated with dances, luxuriously attired people and fans. Fans accentuated their carrier’s movement, highlighting gestures and served as status symbols. In Europe, over time, fans became increasingly used to indicate something which couldn’t otherwise be openly expressed, and a special “language of the fan” developed.
