Meeting with the exhibition curator Ksenija Rudzīte.
The curator will talk about the concept and content of the exhibition “Metaphysics of Light”. You will have the opportunity to learn interesting facts about Ivan Aivazovsky's biography and various periods of the artist's creative work. Particular attention will be paid to the importance of light in Aivazovsky's paintings.
Curator will also provide a small overview of the exhibition “Marine Art of the 19th Century” in the Bosse Hall. There you will see the interpretations of the sea made by the contemporaries of Ivan Aivazovsky.
