Design Studio for Children Receives Latvian Annual Design Award 2023Museum of Decorative Art and Design's (MDAD) Design Studio for Children has become a recipient of the Latvian Annual Design Award 2023 in the category Service Design. Latvian Annual Design Award is the highest recognition in the country in the field of design.
The authors of the project are proud that their effort in making the visit to the museum friendlier, more playful and informative for families with children has been recognised. The authors and realisers of the activity zone are MDAD curators of education Kristīne Šica and Kortnija Māra Gurtlava, Latvian National Museum of Art's Head of Education and Accessibility Elīna Bērziņa, designer Lāsma Kondrāte and illustrator Kristīne Martinova.
