How to Make a Painting?
Creative activity for a work collective or a group of friends The Latvian National Museum of Art offers to complement and diversify the team experience through an inspiring adventure in the museum. The environment of the art museum will be a great place to take a break from the daily routine and create an opportunity to discover new personal and collective resources.
The first part of the event consists of a guided tour of the museum's building and exhibition, presenting stories about works and individuals, while the second part involves a creative task.
The aim of the activity is to liberate creativity in a collective or a group of friends get to know each other better and strengthen mutual communication by participating in a unifying activity. During the activity, under the guidance of artist Diāna Dimza-Dimme, the participants will study the works of the Latvian old masters and together create one or two paintings following the example of these classics. The result will be a A2- or A3-format painting on canvas that can be kept by the group.
We welcome representatives of any profession with no prior experience of painting or drawing necessary and no age limit.

- Maximum number of participants 10 – 15.
- We invite you to bring suitable clothes or an apron since the lesson involves working with colors.
