A Kilogram of Culture 2011

On 22 August 2011, right in the heart of Riga Old Town, the art museum Riga Bourse was opened to the public and at the end of the year, the museum was awarded the television series 100 Grams of Culture prize for the event of the year.

The museum has positioned itself as a place for cultural exchange where excellence is more important than nationality. It is a point of contact between East and West as well as for dialogue between the classical and contemporary in the sense of both displays and form of perception.
